We feel very lucky to have chosen a black Labrador from Bournepark Gundogs. Our puppy, Bournepark Dahlia came to us at 7 months. It was love at first sight. She is bright, healthy and perfect in every way. She came to us partly trained and is definitely a good working dog, very biddable and instinctively retrieves in the field.” Our experience with Eric Burchell was always very positive and he’s continued to be interested in the dog’s welfare to this day. We purchased Digby, a twelve month old black Labrador from Bournepark Gundogs in August, Eric Burchell continued with Digby’s training in the Netherlands until the end of September, so we could arrange for Digby’s transport back to the UK, which was proving difficult to do due to the Covid-19 travel isolation restrictions.

Eric’s communication was excellent throughout the purchase and his help in organising Digby’s travel was amazing. On Digby’s arrival to his new home we were amazed at how quickly he settled in with the family, he is such a loving intelligent confident dog and he lives to retrieve.

We would highly recommend Bournepark Gundogs to anyone thinking of buying a dog, as the breeding is great and the care Eric gives to his dogs is exceptional

I first dealt with Eric over 15 years ago when I got a superb cocker spaniel from him, when I wanted another cocker , Eric was the logical choice, he made me aware of his upcoming litter, and once born kept me fully informed of the pups progress . As we both now lived in different countries, Eric was exceptionally helpful in advising on the best method of transporting the pup and when I decided to fly to collect the pup , Eric kindly offered to meet me at the airport to minimise my travelling requirements, all necessary documentation for travel was organised by Eric which allowed for a smooth check in . The pup is stunning, due to travel restrictions she could not fly until she was 16 weeks , frequent photos and videos kept me fully up to date on her progress but when I first seen in her in reality , I knew yet again Eric had provided me with another top quality dog. A pleasure to deal with , very knowledgeable and professional , I would happily recommend Bournepark to anyone seeking a top quality dog from Eric.

We connected with Eric of Bournepark Gundogs in 2005 when we welcomed Sophie, our English Cocker Spaniel to our family. Sophie travelled all the way from England to us in California and what an AMAZING dog she was! Sophie was beautiful inside and out, loving, smart and had the most wonderful temperament. We loved Sophie for the next 13 years and still miss her today. Several months ago we knew we were ready for a new puppy and automatically reached out to Eric again. Eric made the process so easy and guided us with his expertise to the perfect puppy! We welcomed Lucy, an English Labrador, just 2 months ago. Not only is Lucy stunningly beautiful, she is smart, sweet and possesses the most amazing personality. Eric and his pups are awesome and we highly recommend!
